The Watershed Stewards Program, in partnership with the City of Santa Barbara's Sustainability & Resilience Department, invites community members to participate in a hands-on environmental restoration event at Arroyo Burro Open Space on Saturday, March 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Volunteers will help remove invasive plants, plant native species, and learn more about the local watershed. No experience is needed, and guidance will be provided throughout the event. Participants will also learn how to identify native and invasive plants and hear about the history of the Arroyo Burro watershed.
