The City of Santa Barbara is excited to announce the release of new Storm Water Resource Management Guides, now available online at SantaBarbaraCA.gov/SWMP. 

These updated resources include:  

  • Storm Water Solutions Visual Guide – showcasing local, beautiful and effective examples of storm water management techniques that capture and treat storm water runoff.
  • Quick Reference Guides – Concise compliance overviews for each of the storm water compliance Tiers (Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3/4), clearly outlining why these requirements exist, options for compliance, and what is required to be shown for project approval.   

These resources are intended to enhance community understanding of the need for storm water resource management while also helping applicants navigate the storm water review process with confidence and clarity. 

This virtual presentation provides opportunity to discuss the City’s Storm Water Management Program and walk through the new resources available to assist applicants.  Link to virtual event will be emailed to registrants before the event date.
