Join the Parks and Recreation Department every Thursday in September for free family-friendly entertainment at the recently renovated Plaza del Mar Band Shell.

  • September 4, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. - Acoustic concert by Carly Powers and Will Breman
  • September 11, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. - Theatre performance, Wisdom of Emotions - Life Lessons from Around the World, by Boxtales Theatre Company
  • [Postponed] September 18, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. - Poetry and short story readings by Gunpowder Poetry Group
  • September 25, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. - Acoustic concert by Molly O'Connell and Miles Carter, along with Salty Strings
  • October 2, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. - Poetry and short story readings by Gunpowder Poetry Group

Event Information

  • Lawn chairs and blankets may be used to reserve space starting at 4:00 p.m.
  • Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed; food will also be available for purchase
  • Alcohol is prohibited
  • All public parks are smoke/vape-free
  • Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in the Pershing Park parking lot (free) and the Harbor Main parking lot (paid)
